ARMOGEDDON II – ANDY’S REVENGE 2007

Very cold and wet but really enjoyable. We (the Evil side) took a pounding – again! The usual issues with paint in the inclement weather but thankfully, the next installments of Armogeddon have been brought forward to the warmer month of May.

DETROIT 2007 – TIPPMANN CHALLENGE PART1

The 2007 Tippmann Challenge in Detroit, Michigan. Quite impressive site facilities for both Air and CO2 – the ‘quick fill’ rigs refill an empty bottle in literally seconds. The marshalls were very pro-active, leaping in to pull out eliminated players. Mobile chronograph checks were actively enforced – I think I was checked pretty much every time, walking back to the safe area. Jolly good.

Part 2 of the game. Thanks to BZ Paintball for fixing my X7 which was damaged in transit – it doesn’t matter what game you go to, they’ll be around fixing and offering advice!
A big “Thank You” of course to Tippmann for their hospitality and support.

007 BIG GAME 2007 – NORTH VS SOUTH

The 2007 Big Game from Warped Sports. The largest game in the UK. Another chance to don the red kilt of the North. Perhaps not the best camouflage option but it did bounce quite a few hits.
The sound is a bit rough – it’s old footage before I replaced the microphone.

DR WHO 2007

A slightly different Scenario with three teams battling it out. Each group could only attack in a clockwise direction and defend in an anticlockwise direction. Quite an enjoyable day out.
The scrap to get through the final Portal was amusing to watch.

OKLAHOMA D-DAY 2007 – PART 2

Part 2 of the D-Day experience. The hot weather and the humidity took its toll on the footage but hopefully it gives a flavour of the experience. A big ‘thank you’ to the American hosts, especially Harley Hunk, who made it a very memorable experience.

OKLAHOMA D-DAY 2007 – PART 1

June 2007 and the worlds largest paintball event -in Oklahoma. Thanks to Team Fury’s Barnett Brothers (Tim and Craig) for arranging the trip – a rather good sojourn to the American Heartland. More details in part 2.

PODRAPHENIA 2007

March 2007 and the first Big Game of the year at a new venue for Flashpoint – Bullswood Skirmish, Surrey. Always a pleasure and this didn’t disappoint. My first outing with the Tippmann X7 too.
